Sterling scores twice as Chelsea beat Leicester 2-1 at Stamford Bridge
Raheem Sterling scored twice to help Chelsea past Leicester City in a 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge.
What was seemingly a comfortable game for the Blues turned on its head when midfielder Connor Gallagher was shown two yellow cards in five minutes.
Leicester City had goalkeeper Danny Ward and the crossbar to thank as the game progressed before Sterling got the Blues into the lead, albeit in a fortuitous manner off a deflection.
Sterling doubled the lead off a fantastic Reece James cross before Harvey Barnes showed great composure to halve the deficit, keeping his composure to fire past Edouard Mendy.
