FRSC has advised Nigerians to avoid night travels for their safety during the ’ember’ months.

A senior FRSC official Boboye Oyeyemi gave the advice during a workshop organised for the agency’s staff on Friday in Abuja.

“Ajaokuta Ganaga road is flooded. The water level at River Niger is rising. That is why we are advising people to avoid night trips because with the rain, the water level is increasing and this is very dangerous,” Mr. Oyeyemi said.

The FRSC official implored motorists to ensure that their vehicles are in a proper condition before going on any journey, especially at this time of the year.  Mr. Oyeyemi advised Nigerians to follow the COVID-19 protocol when travelling.
