Gov Ugwuanyi to hold emergency security meeting

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi will hold an emergency security meeting with stakeholders in the three senatorial zones in Enugu on Saturday.
This is contained in a statement by the special adviser to the governor on information, Steve Oruruo, issued on Friday.
The statement revealed that the meeting would hold on Saturday at Nsukka local government council headquarters for Enugu North senatorial district by 9:00 a.m.
“It will also hold the same day in Enugu West Senatorial District at Awgu local government council headquarters at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in Nkanu West local government council headquarters for Enugu East senatorial district,” it explained.
The statement disclosed that the leadership of the Nigerian Army in the state would participate in the meeting.
Those invited include the chairpersons of the 17 local councils and traditional and youth leaders. Others are presidents-general of autonomous communities, religious leaders, all heads of neighbourhood watch and forest guards, and various youth organisations.
