Garnacho scores superb overhead kick as Manchester United thrash Everton 3-0

Manchester United have won five of their last six Premier League matches after the Red Devils secured an impressive 3-0 over Everton at the Goodison Park on Sunday.
The major highlight of the game came barely three minutes into the match when youngster Alejandro Garnacho scored a goal of the season contender with an overkick similar to the one Wayne Rooney scored against Manchester City in 2011.
Before the halftime break, Everton almost equalised after a clumsy play inside Manchester United’s 18-yard box but was cleared off the line by Kobbie Mainoo, who was making his first ever start for United.
Manchester United doubled the lead 11 minutes after the break through Marcus Rashford’s calmly played penalty kick which was awarded after former United player Ashley Young fouled Antony Martial inside the box.
It was Rashford, who has struggled for most part of the new campaign, first goal for Manchester United since September 3.
In the 75th minute, Martial sealed the comfortable win for the Red Devils courtesy of an assist from Bruno Fernandes which the France international calmly chipped over goalkeeper Jordan Pickford’s legs.
Andre Onana was brilliant and made a couple of saves including the outside-the-box volley from Gana Gueye to record a third consecutive clean sheet in the league this season and fifth in total.
Speaking to Sky Sports about his goal, Garnacho said: “I can’t believe it to be honest. I didn’t see how I scored, I just listened to the crowd and said, ‘Oh my god!’ It’s one of the best goals I’ve ever scored. It’s still November, but probably [one of the goals of the season].”
