Xi, Portuguese president mark 45th anniversary of bilateral ties
China and Portugal have upheld the ideas of mutual respect, openness and inclusiveness since their diplomatic ties were established 45 years ago.
The duo vividly demonstrated the right way for countries to get along with one another, said Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday.
Xi made the remarks as he exchanged congratulations with his Portuguese counterpart, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
He commended the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between both countries.
