Easter: Tinubu working hard to make life better for Nigerians, says Lagos APC

The Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says the party is aware of the country’s problems and that the government is working hard to improve them.
The state party chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, who said this in his 2024 Easter message on Friday, said the current phase would soon be a thing of the past as President Bola Tinubu was working to turn things around.
The APC chairman also said Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu was doing his best to provide succour to residents at this difficult period.
While noting that the current pains would translate into gains, Mr Ojelabi urged Nigerians, especially residents of the state, to be patient with the government and support leaders who want to improve things.
He urged Christians and Nigerians in general to use the opportunity of Easter to show love to others and be their brothers’ keepers.
Mr Ojelabi also urged Christians to always make sacrifices for others just as Christ offered himself for the redemption of humanity.
He said as followers and believers of Christ, Christians should always see and accept Christ as their role model.
Mr Ojelabi admonished Christians to accept the lessons of Good Friday, which came with pains, agony, suffering and challenges but ended with the joy and blessings of Easter.
Mr Ojelabi said: “Jesus Christ made much sacrifice by carrying his Cross on Good Friday amidst humiliation, persecution and torture so as to save the world.
“We should also be ready at all times to forgive anybody that offends us as Christ forgave all his persecutors before he died on the Cross.
“Let us continue to strengthen our relationships with God, our reliance on God and renewed hope in God, and he will surely perfect everything that concerns us at his appointed time.”
The APC chairman also urged citizens to respect constituted authorities at all levels.
