FRSC deploys 400 men, ambulances for Sallah in Sokoto

FRSC cautioned drivers against speeding, overloading, dangerous driving, and other traffic offences, emphasising that these actions could endanger lives and property.

The Sokoto command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has deployed 400 men, ambulances and towing trucks to ensure the free traffic flow during the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.

Kabiru Halidu, the command’s spokesman, said this in a statement on Tuesday in Sokoto.

He said special marshals were also deployed to different locations to ensure hitch-free traffic across Sokoto.

Halidu added that the deployment would also ensure the free traffic flow and vehicular movements during the celebrations.

Mr Halidu reiterated the importance of road users abiding by the regulations. 

He cautioned drivers against speeding, overloading, dangerous driving, and other traffic offences, emphasising that these actions could endanger lives and property.
