Lagos commits to using games to improve staff productivity
The Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA) says it will apply its annual games as a strategy to boost staff productivity.
The general manager of LASPA, Adebisi Adelabu, gave the assurance in a statement on Saturday in Lagos.
According to Ms Adelabu, the annual LASPA Games will foster teamwork, enhance performance and staff development, improve communication, and promote the overall well-being of employees.
The LASPA boss said such activities provide a refreshing break from routine tasks, rejuvenate employees, and boost morale and efficiency.
She reiterated the commitment of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led administration to promote the overall health and well-being of state employees and enhance workplace efficiency.
While encouraging the staff to leverage the spirit of unity and dedication fostered by the games, Ms Adelabu urged them to strive for excellence.
“The games featured a variety of sports, including football, board games, and track and field competitions, providing participants with opportunities to showcase their athletic prowess and team spirit,” she said.
The general manager reaffirmed LASPA’s commitment to resolving all parking-related issues and ensuring that both residents and visitors of Lagos State would enjoy optimal parking experiences.
