#EndSARS: Buhari should fight corruption, police brutality: Bill Clinton
Former U.S. President Bill Clinton has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to fight against police brutality and corruption.
Mr. Clinton in a tweet Wednesday also said the Nigerian president should engage protesters in dialogue to find sustainable solutions to raging crises across the country.
“I am deeply concerned over reports of violence in Lagos and urge the Nigerian government to engage in peaceful dialogue with the #EndSARS protestors for police reform and an end to corruption,” Mr. Clinton said.
The statement came hours after Hillary Clinton also asked Mr. Buhari to desist from further attack on citizens participating in #EndSARS campaign to end police brutality.
