According to the registrar, the promotions were ratified by the council during its 24th regular meeting,  held on Sept. 24 and Sept. 25.

“Those promoted to the rank of professor include Igono Joseph, Department of French, Muhammad Kabiru-Dahiru, Department of Geography, Dlama Zira-Joseph, Department of Radiography, Ogwola Idoko-Robert, Department of Public Administration, and Onwuka Jude-Chinedu, Department of Science Laboratory Technology.

The registrar said the Vice Chancellor (V’C) of the university, Shehu Abdul-Rahman, congratulated the newly promoted lecturers on behalf of the council.

He also charged them to work harder, to justify the confidence reposed in them by the university community.
