Premier League: Tottenham sack head coach Igor Tudor amid relegation threat

Premier League side Tottenham have announced the departure of head coach Igor Tudor amid a series of poor results as the club pushes for relegation survival at the end of the season.
In a statement on Sunday, Tottenham confirmed that Tudor, along with the coaching staff, would leave the club immediately following a mutual agreement.
“We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed for Head Coach Igor Tudor to leave the club with immediate effect. Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also left their respective roles of goalkeeping coach and physical coach,” the club said.
Tudor was appointed as Tottenham coach in February but failed to win any of the five Premier League matches in charge, with four defeats and one draw, leaving Spurs one point above the relegation zone.
“We thank Igor, Tomislav, and Riccardo for their efforts during the past six weeks, in which they worked tirelessly. We also acknowledge the bereavement that Igor has recently suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time,” Tottenham stated.
Tottenham noted that a new head coach will be named in due course, with the club remaining without a league win in 2026.
