Houthis claim attacks on Aramco sites in Saudi Arabia

Yemen’s Houthi military spokesman, Yahya Saree, says the group launched ballistic missile and drone attacks against Saudi Aramco sites in Riyadh and the Khurais area in eastern Saudi Arabia.
Mr Saree made the claim in a video, saying the attacks were carried out in retaliation for recent Saudi airstrikes on Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, and other Houthi-held areas.
“The Yemeni Armed carried out with help of God Almighty a qualitative military operation using a number of ballistic missiles and drones targeting the Aramco company in the Saudi energy’s capital, Riyadh,” he said.
Mr Saree also claimed that Houthi forces carried out 60 missile and air attacks against Saudi Arabia over the last 24 hours.
He said the attacks were in response to what he described as Saudi “aggression” against Sanaa and other areas under Houthi control.
According to the spokesman, the latest strikes brought the total number of Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks since the conflict escalated to 1,410.
