OFFICIAL: Kurt Zouma leaves Chelsea for West Ham

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has joined West Ham United.Â
The club announced Zouma’s exit in a statement on their website on Saturday.
“Kurt Zouma’s seven-and-a-half year Chelsea career is at an end after the defender today completed a permanent move to West Ham United,” the statement reads in part.Â
Zuma, 26, joined Chelsea in 2014. He was on loan with Stokes City in 2017-18 and Everton in 2018-19.Â
He featured prominently during former coach Frank Lampard’s reign before dropping out of the first eleven under Thomas Tuchel.
He made 36 appearances for the Blues last season, winning the Champions League title.Â
All through his stay at Stamford Bridge, Zouma made 151 appearances for the Blues, netting 10 goals.
