An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court in Ogba, on Tuesday, ordered the remand of a 26-year-old man, Musa Bukar, at the Correctional Centre, over alleged threat to life of a police officer.
The Magistrate, Lateef Owolabi, did not take the plea of the defendant but ordered that the case file be transferred to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice
He consequently, adjourned the case until July 22, for mention.
The defendant whose address was not provided was brought to court on a three-count charge bordering on threat to life, obstructing a police officer on duty and breach of peace.
The prosecutor, SP Josephine Ikhayere told the court that the defendant committed the offences on June 21, at about 2p.m. at Ogba.
