Nafiu Habib, the command’s spokesman, said in a statement that the incident was reported on Friday at about 6:30 a.m through a distress call from the college.

He said preliminary investigation revealed that at about 2:30 a.m. on the same day, the suspect who claimed to be attached to Garu Security Service, Bauchi, unlawfully gained entry into a female students’ lodge in Old GRA, Bauchi, while dressed in a full police camouflage uniform.
Mr Habib said that upon receipt of the report, the divisional police officer of “B” Division led a team of detectives and patrol operatives to the scene.
