PSN elects Munirat Akanbi-Bello as first female chair in Kwara

The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria Kwara branch elected Hajia Munirat Akanbi-Bello as its state chairman.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Kwara branch has elected Hajia Munirat Akanbi-Bello as the association’s chairman in the state.

The election took place on Saturday in Ilorin, where she contested against two other male candidates.

In a statement issued on Sunday in Ilorin, Ms Akanbi-Bello commended her colleagues for the overwhelming support and trust.

“This victory is not mine alone; it is ours. It is a testament to our collective strength, unity and belief in a greater PSN-Kwara,” she said.

The new PSN boss pledged to lead with integrity, transparency, inclusiveness and dedication.

She also promised to work tirelessly to advance the pharmaceutical profession, protect the practice, and improve every member’s welfare.
