Yinka Quadri, Ogogo’s family thank Tinubu, Ogun govt, others for their support during Taiwo Hassan’s burial

Veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri alongside family of the late Taiwo Hassan otherwise called Ogogo has appreciated colleagues, President Bola Tinubu, Ogun State government and others for their solidarity and support during the actor’s burial.
Mr Quadri also urged his colleagues in the entertainment industry to embrace unity and forgive one another.
Mr Quadri stated this on Tuesday after the eight day prayer organised in honour of late Taiwo ‘Ogogo’ Hassan in Ilaro, Ogun, on Monday.
Recall that the actor died on Sunday, August 23, after losing the battle to stage-four cancer
The fidau prayer was attended by family, friends and colleagues in the country’s film industry.
“To my beloved colleagues in the entertainment industry and beyond, let us learn from this moment. Whatever grudges, misunderstandings or differences we may have with one another; let’s find courage to let them go. Let’s forgive, reconcile, love and appreciate one another while we are still alive,” Mr Quadri stated.
The actor, who described Mr Hassan’s death as a solemn reminder about the significance of impact, urged colleagues to return to work with love and unity.
“Life is truly short. The passing of our beloved colleague, Taiwo Hassan Ogogo, reminds us that beyond fame, wealth, success and status, what truly matters is the impact we make and the lives we touch.
“Ogogo has gone to rest, having fulfilled the purpose for which God sent him. His legacy, contributions to the entertainment industry, and the memories he created will continue to live on.
“To all my beloved colleagues, let’s return to work, continue the journey, and move forward with love and unity,” he added.
Mr Quadri appreciated President Bola Tinubu, Ogun State government, his colleagues and others for their solidarity and support during the difficult period.
