The Headies reschedules 18th edition to April 2027 in Canada

Organisers of The Headies Awards have rescheduled the 18th edition of the ceremony to April 10 to April 11, 2027 in Toronto, Canada.
The organisers made the announcement in a statement shared on its official instagram page, @the_headies.
The awards was initially scheduled for October 23, 2026.
The organisers said in the statement that the revised schedule would create more opportunities for engagement within the music and creative industries.
It added that activities for the ‘Road to the Headies” initiative would continue during the period originally scheduled for the event.
The statement revealed that the activities are expected to include workshops, seminars and industry engagements ahead of the main ceremony.
The organisers apologised to guests who had already made travel plans and other arrangements, acknowledging the inconvenience caused by the postponement.
