ACPPN lauds Jimoh Ibrahim’s appointment as Nigeria’s UN envoy

The Association of Certified Protocol Practitioners in Nigeria (ACPPN) has congratulated Jimoh Ibrahim on his appointment as Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
In a statement jointly signed by its Executive President, Michael Ikinbor, and General Secretary, Oyenusi Adefolarin, ACPPN described the appointment as a recognition of Ibrahim’s distinguished public service and leadership.
The association said Mr Ibrahim’s experience as a diplomat, entrepreneur and scholar would strengthen Nigeria’s representation and influence within the United Nations system.
“His accomplishments as a diplomat, entrepreneur and scholar have distinguished him in both national and international engagements,” ACPPN said.
The association expressed confidence that his intellectual depth, strategic vision and wealth of experience would contribute significantly to advancing Nigeria’s interests at the multilateral level.
ACPPN said the appointment was significant to Nigeria’s foreign policy objectives, international cooperation and the promotion of effective multilateral diplomacy.
It also commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Mr Ibrahim to the strategic diplomatic position.
The association said the appointment demonstrated the administration’s commitment to deploying capable and accomplished Nigerians to positions that would advance Nigeria’s interests globally.
ACPPN wished Mr Ibrahim a successful tenure, urging him to use the opportunity to promote global peace, sustainable development and stronger international partnerships.
