The party’s National Chairman, Mr Kenneth Udeze, said this on Thursday in a statement in Abuja.

He said, “We urge President Bola Tinubu to provide adequate security to defenceless Nigerians as enshrined in the Nigerian Constitution to stop the killings in Plateau, Taraba and other states of the federation.

“The party is reminding the government at all levels that the security and welfare of Nigerians is the primary responsibility of the government and the government must do everything to secure Nigerians.

“Irrespective of tribe, religion and political affiliation, the government at all levels should keep to its promise of providing dividend of democracy to Nigerians.’’
