Angry youths destroy Tinubu’s 2027 campaign billboard in Kano

A group of youths in Kano State have destroyed a campaign billboard and posters bearing the image of President Bola Tinubu for re-election in 2027.
The youths, captured in a twenty-second viral video footage on Thursday, were seen tearing down Mr Tinubu’s posters amid cheers.
The incident reportedly occurred after a welcome ceremony for Governor Abba Yusuf, who had returned to the state from the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
The motive behind the destruction by the irate youths was not immediately known.
However, netizens have linked their action to the growing concerns and frustration about the current hardship and escalating security crisis under Mr Tinubu’s administration.
The video, which is currently generating reactions, comes barely 24 hours after Mr Tinubu visited Benue with a heavy security entourage to condole the people and victims of suspected herdsmen attacks, where over 100 persons were killed, and houses were burnt.
