APC will give those who don’t see good things happening in Nigeria Tinubu glasses to see clearly: Remi Tinubu

First Lady Remi Tinubu has said Nigeria is witnessing massive transformation in various sectors under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Mrs Tinubu, who spoke this while inaugurating a PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Abuja on Friday, berated Nigerians who refused to acknowledge great things happening under the current administration.
“Things are happening in Nigeria except those who don’t see; maybe we give them Bola Tinubu eyeglasses,” the first lady said. “To the glory of God and the victory of Mr President come 2027, I hearby formally commission the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement campaign headquarters in Abuja. God bless the All Progressives Congress.”
Mrs Tinubu prayed that she plans to leave the Aso Rock in 2031, urging Nigerians to support Mr Tinubu’s re-election.
She added, “I want to leave Aso Rock by 2031 by the grace of God and get to Nigeria where as a 70-something-year-old will enjoy. I want to get to the airport and travel so quickly. And you can see that at airports, too, are changing.”
The first lady noted that the movement’s approach remains a true community engagement offering the opportunity for the ruling All Progressives Congress to listen to the concerns and aspirations of all Nigerians.
“The approach of Door-to-Door Movement remains a true community engagement which gives us the opportunity to listen to the heartfelt concerns of families, understand the aspirations of our young people, honour the wisdom of our elders and learn directly from the women who serve as resilient backbone of our homes and society as a whole.
“I hope this headquarters will serve as a central hub for coordination, idea development and the dissemination of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and message of shared prosperity to households nationwide,” she added.
Mrs Tinubu further charged campaigners to communicate the government’s economic reforms and emerging opportunities, particularly those available to young Nigerians seeking employment.
The first lady noted, “A message must consistently resonate hope, peace, unity, and development, especially the impactful progress the Tinubu administration has made so far.”
The movement was convened by Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo and conceived to rally support for Mr Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
