Aspirant submits Edo governorship nomination form, confident of party’s ticket

An Edo State governorship aspirant, Earl Onaiwu, has submitted his nomination form at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.
Mr Onaiwu disclosed this after submitting the form on Friday according to a statement.
He said, “I, Onaiwu, buoyed by the support garnered, am hopeful that my bid for the governorship position in Edo State will be successful. As I hand in my nomination form, I am optimistic I will emerge victorious in the upcoming primary election. The next crucial step for me is the screening process, which has been scheduled to take place on Monday, January 29 in Abuja.”
On his chances of success in the governorship race, Mr Onaiwu said, “With influential figures lending their support and the people of the state behind me, I will present a formidable challenge to my competitors.”
