The medical doctor is facing a two-count charge bordering on defilement and sexual assault of his wife’s niece.
The police in Lagos recently came under heavy criticism after an officer attached to the Ajiwe division in Ajah killed a pregnant female lawyer.
The prosecution counsel said Mr Vandi had contravened Section 223 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State (2015) with his alleged act.
The bar body said human rights lawyer Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa would lead its team to monitor the prosecution of alleged killer cop Drambi Vandi.
“If this person isn’t punished and all details published for everyone to see, I am afraid many will interpret that as an invitation to chaos. Humble advice,” said Falz.
“I cannot see (my daughter) ‘the Law’ again. She was taken away from me. She was pregnant with twins,” the mother said.
“The ASP that shot and two others with him have since been taken into custody. They are to be moved to the SCID for further investigation,” Mr Hundeyin said.
