The Oyo state government on Tuesday demolished a residential property allegedly used by criminals as a hideout and an ammunition storage facility.
“The decision of the lower court to proceed with the judgment despite the express order of this court is the highest form of judicial impertinence,” it said.
The governor urged the protesters to maintain peace as the demonstration continued.
The ministry said 18 individuals were also arrested for offering transportation, shelter and employment to violators.

Mr Hayes said preliminary findings indicated that the crash was “tragic”, “not survivable”, and an “unrecoverable crash”.
The president acknowledged that South African youths face economic challenges, such as scarce jobs, limited opportunities and unemployment, which are prevalent in the country.
He said the interrogation of the suspects led to the recovery of additional exhibits linked to the case.
“As of 1:00 p.m, only 14 voters had presented themselves for accreditation across the four centres visited,” he said.
