A school bus carrying pupils veered off the road in eastern Uganda on Thursday, killing 20 schoolchildren and a teacher in Kapchorwa district.
Gunmen, on Tuesday, abducted a principal, NECO official and students during exam in Kogi school.
“Recovered cattle have been returned to their rightful owners,” he said.
The family said details of the funeral arrangements would be announced in due course.
In a judgement delivered on Thursday, a three-member panel of the appellate court barred further implementation of the lower court’s decision challenging the electoral guidelines.
Mr Yahaya stated that during the operation, 24 foreign nationals comprising 15 males and nine females were apprehended.
A second boat, reportedly carrying about 280 people, is believed to have sunk off Myanmar’s Ayeyarwady coast on July 8.
Mr Abdulkarim said efforts were ongoing to arrest the fleeing suspects and recover additional exhibits.
Mr Monde said four people were being held by the gunmen.
Police said the suspects threatened to kidnap the complainant and kill his younger brother, Musa Ismaila, if a N22 million ransom was not paid.
