First City Monument Bank (FCMB) is offering Nigerians a fast and convenient way to access funds for school fees and supplies as the new academic term begins.

The bank’s ‘FastCash’ digital loan solution allows parents and guardians to borrow up to N200,000 in minutes through the FCMB mobile app or by dialling – *329*11# – on their phones.

“We understand the financial pressures families face, especially at the start of a new school term,” said Adetunji Lamidi, FCMB’s Divisional Head of Personal Banking. “FastCash is designed to provide immediate relief.”

The loans, which can be repaid over three months, aim to make education more affordable and accessible.

FCMB says its artificial intelligence technology allows it to tailor loan offers to individual circumstances, and borrowers with good repayment histories can access even more significant sums.

The bank has disbursed over N40 billion in digital retail loans this year, with FastCash playing a critical role in helping thousands of Nigerians navigate short-term financial challenges.
