Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany rushed to hospital after collapsing during training
Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has reportedly been rushed to a hospital in Munich after collapsing during a training session on Friday.
Reports said the incident occurred at the club’s training on Säbener Straße, and the former Manchester City captain was transported to the hospital by an ambulance.
For the past few days, the 40-year-old Belgian coach had been suffering from a viral infection that kept him out of the final training session and press conference for the UEFA Champions League match against Arsenal on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have yet to provide an update on the situation as of the time of filing this report.
Kompany joined Bayern Munich as manager in 2024 after leaving Burnley and has led the German champions to the Bundesliga title twice.
