Bayern Munich will face Liverpool and Manchester City during their trip to Asia as part of their pre-season preparations in summer, the two English clubs said on Tuesday.

The German record champions will play against Manchester City on July 26 in Japan and face Liverpool on August 2 in Singapore.

As previously announced, Bayern Munich will also play a friendly match against Kawasaki Frontale on July 29 in Japan.

Last month, Bayern Munich said they would take their eighth Audi Summer Tour to Asia from July 24 to August 3.

It will be Bayern Munich’s first visit to Japan with the first team since 2008, while their last trip to Asia was in 2017 when China and Singapore were the destinations.

Before heading to Asia, Bayern Munich will hold a training camp at Tegernsee, just outside Munich, from July 15 to July 20.
