Buhari says will present 2021 budget Thursday

The government is working to finish up the budget before the start of a new fiscal year.

President Muhammadu Buhari will present the 2021 Appropriation Bill to the National Assembly on Thursday.

The president said this in his letter to Senate, which Senate President Ahmed Lawan read during the plenary on Tuesday. 

Mr. Buhari’s letter read, “May I crave the kind indulgence of the Distinguished Senate to grant me the slot of 11:00hrs on Thursday, 8th October, 2020, to formally present the 2021 Appropriation bill to the Joint Session of the National Assembly.”
