Buhari’s advice on consensus made APC more united: Gov. Ganduje

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State says the consensus method adopted at Saturday’s national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has made the party more united and stronger.
He said the successful conduct of the convention as a result of the advice by President Muhammadu Buhari on consensus arrangement.
“It is also a great success if you look at the procedures followed in order to come up with this exercise. I know you are aware that President Muhammadu Buhari has advised us to go on consensus,” Mr Ganduje said in a statement by his spokesman, Abba Anwar.
“Even in situations where consensus did not work, they had to go into the election with all the proper process,” the governor said.
Mr Ganduje pointed out that APC came up with a new brand of leadership at the end of the exercise, adding that it made the party more united and stronger.
“At the end of the exercise, two things were achieved, that, we have come up with a new brand of leadership.
“And secondly this exercise has made us be more united and become stronger. And we are sure we are equal to the task,” Mr Ganduje stated.
