Burna Boy says those who “prayed he didn’t win” Grammy are dumb

Nigerian musician Burna Boy has described those who never wished he won at the 63rd Grammy Awards as too dumb to understand that his win is a win for them too.
Last Sunday, Burna Boy’s ‘Twice as Tall’ won under the Best Global Music Album category at the 63rd Grammy awards.
Speaking a week after winning his first ever Grammy award on Twitter, Burna Boy shaded those who prayed that he would not win at the 63rd Grammy.
“GOD is most definitely NOT A MAN. I will never forget how so many of you prayed that I don’t win, Burna Boy said. “Too dumb to understand that you also win if I win. No worry. This is just the beginning. God is Great,” the megastar wrote.
First nominated for Grammy award in 2019 for his album “African Giant”, Burna Boy lost to Beninese veteran musician Angélique Kidjo at the 62nd Grammy Awards.
Also, Wizkid won his first-ever Grammy for his role in ‘Brown Skin Girl’, a collaboration with Beyonce at the 63rd Grammy awards last week.
