Prominent online streamer, Carter Efe, on Thursday, defeated rapper Speed Darlington, by unanimous decision, to retain his Celebrity boxing title, and walk home with a ₦50 million reward.

The contest, staged under Balmoral Promotions, and tagged ‘Chaos in the Ring’, was one of the two celebrity matches held in Lagos to mark Nigeria’s 66th independence anniversary.

Carter Efe secured the victory after the referee stopped the four-round bout, with each of the three judges scoring the bout 30-27, in his favour.

Following his victory, the skitmaker has extended his unbeaten record to two, having previously defeated singer Habeeb ‘Portable’ Badmus by unanimous decision to win the title in May.

The 42-year-old after his victory, challenged former boxing champion Floyd Mayweather for his next match, which he said should be after tying the knots with his girlfriend Taylor Jasmine, who lives in Georgia, U.S.

He said, “My woman, Taylor Jasmine. She’s the one that gave me the strength to win because I didn’t even train for this fight. Man, it wasn’t easy. With that stomach that looked like pregnancy, you see, I have strength.

“I want an international opponent. I am tired of Akpi Speed Darlington and Portable. I want to fight with DDG. They are boxers. I want to fight with Mayweather. When I get married to Taylor Jasmine, that’s when I’ll fight my next fight.”

In the night’s other fight, Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Ijeoma Otabor, aka Phyna, knocked out Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing, in round four, to win the title. She is the first-ever female celebrity match.

The actress after receiving the knockout punch, failed to beat the referee’s 10 counts, which earned Phyna the victory and a ₦50 million reward.

After the victory, Phyna called out actress Etinosa Idemudia, also present at the venue, and demanded she should be her next opponent. The actress accepted the challenge, but a date has yet to be fixed.
