CDS congratulates defence minister on 63rd birthday

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen. Christopher Musa, has congratulated the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru, on his 63rd birthday.
Mr Musa, in a message on behalf of officers and men of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, described the minister as a leader of vision, humility and patriotism.
He said Mr Badaru’s unwavering commitment to national service strengthened the country’s defence and security architecture.
The CDS noted that the minister had, through wise counsel and steadfast support, inspired the Armed Forces in the discharge of their constitutional duties.
He added that Mr Badaru’s leadership fostered synergy among the services and defence institutions, boosting operational effectiveness and raising troop morale across all theatres.
Mr Musa prayed to God to grant the minister more years of good health, wisdom and strength to continue serving the nation and humanity.
