Celebrated filmmaker Tunde Kelani excited over NAL Award of Excellence, thanks friends, family members for support
Celebrated filmmaker, Tunde Kelani, has expressed gratitude to family, friends, and colleagues who celebrated with him on receiving the Nigerian Academy of Letters (NAL) Award of Excellence in Humanistic Practice.
Mr Kelani expressed gratitude to those who attended the event and sent in messages to congratulate him on receiving the award.
Mr Kelani said, “To everyone who called, wrote, sent messages, posted congratulations or simply reached out with kind words, thank you. I may not be able to respond to every message individually, but please know that I have received your goodwill with a full and grateful heart.”
The filmmaker added that the feat was more meaningful because he shared the moment with those who worked with him and supported him over the years.
