China tells America to stop seeking world supremacy

China also suggested that U.S. officials revisit their basic international law knowledge.

Chinese foreign minister, Wang Yi, has urged the United States to stop seeking supremacy and heed the voices of the international community.

Mr Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remark at a joint press conference shortly after meeting with Indonesian foreign minister, Retno Marsudi.

He also suggested that U.S. officials revisit their basic international law knowledge.
