Christopher Nkunku undergoes Chelsea medical ahead of potential €60m move: Reports

RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku has undergone a surprising medical test in Germany ahead of a €60m move to Premier League club Chelsea, multiple sources have confirmed.
According to renowned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Nkunku had undergone the first part of his medical tests with Chelsea some weeks ago. He disclosed that the medical test secretly took place in Germany as The Blues want to complete the deal as soon as possible.
The deal is said to be a long-term contract, in which a proposal has been sent to the player’s camp to finalise the details of the potential move for 2023.
Romano also noted that the deal is not yet done, as Chelsea and Leipzig still have to discuss the details of payment structure for Nkunku’s €60m release clause which will become active in June 2023 and other details about the deal.
The 24-year-old began his senior career at Paris Saint-Germain in 2015 before leaving for Germany with RB Leipzig in 2019.
The French attacker rose to prominence immediately and has attracted interest from big clubs around Europe including Manchester United, Barcelona and AC Milan.
He has eight caps for the France national team.
