Commissioner lauds Jigawa women’s dedication, perseverance

The Commissioner for Women Affairs in Jigawa, Hadiza Abdulwahab, has commended women in the state for their dedication and perseverance.
She made the commendation on Monday during the distribution of clothes and cash to some APC members in Malam Madori LGA.
“Women have become key actors in political spaces in the state. I must, therefore, commend your loyalty and resilience for standing by us and bringing us to power through your votes.
“Women endure every hardships and stand in long queues during elections to ensure they cast their votes.
“So it is absolutely mandatory for every government to recognise them and make sure they enjoy the fruit of their hard work when any party wins elections,” she said.
The commissioner urged the women to continue to support the APC.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Salma Abdullahi commended the commissioner for her kind gesture.
She pledged to continue supporting the APC.
The commissioner distributed clothing and cash worth N1 million to elderly women in the local government area.
