The National Youth Service Corps Coordinator in Kaduna State, Hassan Taura, has advised corps members to immediately settle down and avoid truancy at their places of primary assignment.

Mr Taura gave the advice on Thursday in Kaduna at a low-key closing ceremony of the 2023 batch ‘C’ stream‘ll’ orientation course.”

He also advised the corps members that as they were leaving camp, they were expected to report to their PPAs promptly and complete the necessary documentation.

Similarly, Mr Taura warned the corps members against travelling outside the state without permission from the NYSC management.

He explained that the idea was to discourage them as much as possible from exposing themselves to the dangers of the roads.

Speaking further, the state coordinator warned them against indulging in drug abuse, cyber-crime, abuse of social media and any act capable of endangering their lives and denting the image of their parents and the NYSC.

He thanked corporate organisations who sponsored some of the corps’ social and sporting events that made the camp lively for the corps members.
