COVID-19 test no longer required for vaccinated travellers arriving Nigeria: FG
The federal government announced on Monday that travellers coming into Nigeria will no longer be required to take the COVID-19 test as long as they were fully vaccinated before arriving the country.
The announcement followed a revision of the International Travel Protocols by the Presidential Steering Committee.
Boss Mustapha, chairman of the PSC, made this known during a press briefing in Abuja on Monday
He however noted that passengers who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated will still be required to take a COVID-19 PCR test 48 hours before departure, or do a Day 2 and Day 7 test on arrival.
According to Mr Mustapha, such passengers will have to pay for their PCR tests through the federal government’s travel platform.
Also, fully vaccinated passengers will not be charged for rapid antigen tests at the airport.
