Crown FC defeats 3SC 5-2 on penalties to win Oyo presidential cup final

Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso, on Sunday at the Olubadan Stadium, Ibdan, defeated Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan 5-2 on penalties in the final of the President Federation Cup in Oyo State.
Crown FC opened scoring in the 25th minute of the game through a perfect finish from Emmanuel David, a goal that changed the outlook of the game into a real final encounter.
However, Alade Balogun levelled the game in the 58th minute for Shooting Stars, keeping the hope of lifting the cup alive.
The game went straight to penalties after both teams maintained a 1-1 draw at the expiration of regulation time.
The result made Crown FC the champions of the 2026 Oyo State President Federation Cup after a 5-2 triumph over 3SC on penalties.
Shooting Stars secured their place in the final after edging their Team B side 1-0 in a closely contested semi-final clash at the Olubadan Stadium.
Crown FC, on the other hand, delivered a convincing performance defeating Ibadan United 2-0, to seal their spot in the title decider.
