David Alaba joins Real Madrid

Bayern Munich defender David Alaba has joined Spanish side Real Madrid.
Alaba, who has been with Bayern since 2010, signed a five year deal with the Spanish giant.
Madrid announced Alaba’s transfer in a statement on Friday, after a barren season that saw them win no trophy.
“David Alaba will be unveiled as a new Real Madrid player after the end of the 2021 European Championship,” the statement reads.
Alaba, 28, has had an impressive career with the German side, wining 10 Bundesliga titles, two Champions Leagues and two Club World Cups amongst other trophies.
In over a decade of his career at Munich, Alaba had 431 appearances, scoring 33 goals for the German side.
