Davido’s ‘Unavailable,’ Asake’s ‘Amapiano,’ Burna Boy’s ‘Sittin’ on Top of the World’ make Obama’s favourite songs of 2023

The ex-president also sought suggestions of other songs or artistes he should check out.

Former American President Barak Obama has unveiled his annual favourite songs, with hit songs by Nigerian singers Davido, Asake and Burna Boy making the 2023 list.

On his official X page on Friday, Obama posted a picture of his most enjoyed songs, captioning it, “Here are some of my favourite songs from this year.”

The ex-president also sought suggestions of other songs or artistes he should check out.

In the picture posted on Mr Obama’s page, Davido’s ‘Unavailable,’ Asake’s ‘Amapiano,’ Burna Boy’s ‘Sittin’ on Top of the World’ were listed.

Also on the list are Beyoncé’s “America Has a Problem,” featuring Kendrick Lamar; “The Returner” by Allison Russell; “Cast Iron Skillet” by Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit; and “Cobra” by Megan Thee Stallion, among others.
