EA SPORTS FC™ 25 features hits from Rema, Shallipopi, Omah Lay
EA SPORTS has officially revealed the soundtrack for EA SPORTS FC™ 25, featuring Afrobeats’ sensational stars, Rema, Shallipopi, and Omah Lay, who join the global music lineup.
Rema returns after his debut on FIFA 21, this time with his hit song “Benin Boys,” a collaboration with Shallipopi. For Shallipopi, this marks his first appearance on an EA SPORTS soundtrack, highlighting his rapid rise in the Afrobeats scene. Omah Lay also makes a memorable debut with his track “Moving.”
These Nigerian artists join a global lineup of heavyweights from various genres in pop culture.
This year’s soundtrack features 117 songs with a roster of globally renowned artistes, catering to players with diverse musical tastes.
According to EA’s press release, the EA SPORTS FC™ 25 soundtrack builds on a tradition that began in 1997, cementing its status as a cultural touchstone in the music calendar.
The lineup celebrates many international artists, showcasing genres as diverse as Elyanna’s Arabic-Latin pop fusion.
Steve Schnur, worldwide executive and president of Music for Electronic Arts, described FC 25 as “a global celebration of new music that erases borders, embraces multiple genres, and delivers several surprises.” The soundtrack features a mix of international tastemakers such as Pa Salieu, Disclosure, Ice Spice, Central Cee, Kasabian, and South African artist Moonchild Sanelly, alongside chart-toppers like Billie Eilish and J Balvin.
Keeping with its tradition of launching careers, the soundtrack includes unreleased tracks from Coldplay and Delfina Dib, alongside music from rising talents like Japanese drill rapper JUMADIBA.
EA SPORTS FC™ 25 will be available to play on September 27, with early access through the Ultimate Edition starting September 20.
