EFCC nabs suspected “Yahoo Boys” in Abuja hotel

Operatives of the Abuja zonal command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have arrested nine suspected internet fraudsters, otherwise known as “Yahoo Boys”. in a sting operation.
The anti-graft agency, in an update on its Twitter handle, on Wednesday, said the suspects were nabbed in a sting operation at Voque Hotel, Mararaba.
EFCC listed the names of the suspects as Bassey Sunday Junior, Samson Zachariah, Ogonyi Jeremiah, Sunday Martins, Austin Yayison, Wilson Chinaza, Emmanuel Adeyi, Samuel Mark and Emmanuel Bassey.
Among the items recovered from the suspects include thirteen phones, three laptops and a Harman/Kardon music box.
The suspects will be arraigned in court when investigations are concluded, said the agency.
