Mr Ayade called on the Muslim community In Cross River to always see themselves as partners in the development of the state.
He advised them to remain peaceful as the electioneering campaign commenced across the state.
“We remain committed to a peaceful Nigeria despite our challenges. Please let us continue to be our brothers’ keepers, which is the focal agenda of this administration.
“It is as a result of my desire to ensure inclusiveness that my administration appointed over 40 Muslim Community members into my government, including cabinet ranking appointments,” Mr Ayade said.
