The speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Adeoye Aribasoye, has said the remodelling of the assembly will be completed and inaugurated in October.

Mr Aribasoye gave the assurance on Tuesday during his remarks at the assembly’s monthly prayer meeting held at the assembly complex in Ado-Ekiti.

He advised the staff not to rest on their laurels but to redouble their efforts towards achieving efficient service delivery.

He also urged them to be committed as they enter the second half of the year.

Mr Aribasoye commended the state governor, Biodun Oyebanji, for his efforts at the remodelling of the complex.

Speaking, the Chairman of the House of Assembly Service Commission, Kayode Fasakin, commended the leadership of the assembly and members of staff for their positive inputs.

Mr Fasakin, represented by the commissioner in charge of training and manpower, Fola Adewusi, urged the staff to be productive and embrace self-development for quality service delivery.

Earlier, the special adviser to the governor on monitoring and evaluation, Adetunji Aribasoye, called on the workers to fear God always to attain perfection.

Similarly, a Muslim cleric, Bakare Kazeem, also encouraged workers to lead by example and seek God’s leadership before taking important steps.

The duo charged the workers to put in their best in the service in the second half of the year.

They expressed optimism that the end of the year would produce better prospects for the government and people of the state.
