EkitiDecides2026: How candidates performed in Ekiti governorship election

The anticipated Ekiti State 2026 off-cycle governorship election, held on Saturday, has been concluded, with Gov. Biodun Oyebanji declared winner of the exercise.
Adenike Oladiji, the Chief Returning Officer and Presiding Officer of the election, announced the results at about 3:16 a.m. on Sunday.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said the total number of registered voters was 1,059,360; the number of collected PVCs was 1,028,929; the number of uncollected PVCs is 30,431; and the percentage of collected PVCs is 97.1%.
