Eld-el-Fitr: Governor Alia congratulates Benue Muslims

Gov. Hyacinth Alia has congratulated Muslim faithful in Benue state for their successful completion of fasting in the Holy month of Ramadan.
This is contained in a press statement on Monday, signed by his chief press secretary (CPS), Tersoo Kula, and made available to journalists in Makurdi.
In the statement, Mr Alia advised Muslim Ummah to uphold the lessons of kindness, forgiveness and sacrifice which the month of Ramadan taught and also pray for peace and development of Benue State.
He identified insecurity and an unstable economy as major challenges standing against the speedy development of Nigeria and the State and called on Muslims to always remember to pray for the state.
He saluted their willingness to undertake their annual spiritual exercise and prayed to God to give them the strength and courage to always follow the dictates of the Ramadan fast and equally spread them to other segments of society.
