EPL: Arsenal beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in season opener

Arsenal started their 2022/2023 English Premier League campaign with a 2-nil win against Crystal Palace.
The London side put up brilliant performance, dominating the game from the blast of the whistle at Selhurst Park.

A brilliant save by Ramsdale in the 42nd minutes, denied Edouard an equaliser for Crystal Palace, seeing the home side go into first half break behind the Gunners.
Crystal Palace came into the second half stronger. They came close to getting an equaliser in the 52nd minute but Ramsdale saved the Gunners again.
In the 85th minute, Bukayo Saka’s shot was deflected by Marc Guehi into Crystal Palace goal, sealing Arsenal’s victory.
With three points and two goals in first game of the season, Arsenal stay top of the EPL long pending outcome of other games to be played on Saturday and Sunday.
